MSU IRB Tutorial

The MSU IRB Tutorial is entitled “What You Need To Know About the Protection of Human Subjects of Research.” The tutorial covers the history of human subjects’ regulations, definitions of research and human subjects, benefits and risks, selection of subjects, informed consent, protecting privacy, potentials for conflict of interest, and on-going review.  Completion of the MSU IRB Tutorial is required for initial training.  To access the MSU IRB Tutorial, click here.

CITI Online Course in the Protection of Human Research Subjects

MSU has purchased a license that allows unlimited institutional (MSU) access to the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative ( CITI ), an online Course in the Protection of Human Research Subjects administered by the University of Miami, FL. Because the license allows unlimited institutional access, this course may also be used in MSU academic courses to train students. Use of CITI modules is required for renewal of training. For instructions on how to access the CITI modules, click here.
